FILMMAKING IN THE DIGITAL AGE

From the 10th to the 14th of June Binger Filmlab presents a symposium dedicated to digital film production and distribution. The challenges and opportunities that film directors, producers and distributors face in the current (and forthcoming) cinema landscape will be addressed through meetings with key-note speakers such as Ted Hope, expert masterclasses and workshops.

Binger invited me to compose a film program highlighting some of the most intriguing works by emerging American and British indie talents plus two documentaries focused on digital film production and distribution.  The film program will present two Dutch premieres and offer an opportunity to discover the work of independent directors who produced awarded, critically acclaimed feature films  with limited budgets.
The screenings will take place daily at EYE and at De Balie in Amsterdam.
